“So, how much will this cost?”
It’s the first question almost every business owner asks us, and it’s the one most agencies avoid answering until the third meeting. That’s frustrating when you’re trying to plan a budget. So here’s a straight answer: what digital marketing services typically cost in Bangalore in 2026, what you should get for that money, and the warning signs in packages that look too cheap.

First, understand the two different costs
Many proposals blur these together, which makes comparing agencies difficult:
- Agency fee: what you pay the agency for strategy, setup, creative, management and reporting.
- Ad spend (media budget): what you pay Meta, Google or LinkedIn directly for the ads to run. This should go from your card or account straight to the platform, not through the agency.
When you compare quotes, always ask: “Is ad spend included in this number, or extra?”
Typical 2026 price ranges in Bangalore
These are the ranges we commonly see in the Bangalore market for small and growing businesses. Larger brands, multiple locations or highly competitive industries will cost more.
SEO and Local SEO
- Local SEO (Google Business Profile, local citations, reviews, location pages): roughly ₹8,000–₹25,000 per month
- Full SEO (technical fixes, content, on-page optimisation, link building): roughly ₹15,000–₹60,000+ per month
SEO is a compounding investment. Expect meaningful movement over 3–6 months, not 3–6 weeks.
Paid ads management (Meta Ads, Google Ads)
- Commonly a fixed fee of ₹10,000–₹50,000 per month, or 10–20% of ad spend for larger budgets
- Plus a one-time setup fee in some cases (account structure, tracking, audiences)
- Ad spend is separate. For most local businesses, a realistic starting budget is somewhere between ₹15,000 and ₹50,000 per month, depending on the industry
Social media management
- Roughly ₹15,000–₹60,000 per month, depending on the number of platforms, posts per week, and whether video and Reels are included
Website development
- Business website (5–10 pages on WordPress): roughly ₹25,000–₹1,00,000
- E-commerce store: roughly ₹50,000–₹3,00,000+, depending on the number of products, integrations and custom features
- Plus hosting, domain, and ongoing maintenance
Content marketing
- Blog articles typically range from ₹2,000–₹8,000 per article, depending on length, research depth and whether images and SEO optimisation are included
Why prices vary so much
Two agencies can quote very different prices for something that sounds the same. Usually it comes down to:
- Who actually does the work. A senior strategist, or an intern following a template?
- Scope. “Social media management” can mean 8 stock-image posts a month, or 20 custom posts plus Reels, community management and reporting.
- Tracking and reporting. Proper conversion tracking takes real time to set up. Cheap packages often skip it, which means nobody can tell if the marketing is working.
- Strategy. Is someone thinking about your business goals, or just executing tasks?
Red flags in cheap packages
- Guaranteed rankings (“Page 1 on Google in 30 days”). Nobody can guarantee Google rankings.
- The agency owns your ad account or website. You should always own your Meta Business account, Google Ads account, domain and website.
- Reports full of impressions, reach and likes, but nothing about leads, enquiries or sales.
- Ad spend billed through the agency with no visibility into what was actually spent.
- Long lock-in contracts before you’ve seen any work.
What should you budget?
A useful way to think about it: start from your goal, not from the price list.
- How many new customers or leads do you need each month?
- What is a new customer worth to your business (average order value, or lifetime value)?
- What can you afford to pay to acquire one customer and still make a profit?
Once you know those numbers, it’s much easier to decide whether you need ads for quick leads, SEO for long-term growth, or both.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum budget for digital marketing in Bangalore?
For a small local business, a practical starting point is local SEO or a single ad channel. That typically means around ₹10,000–₹25,000 per month in agency fees, plus ad spend if you run paid campaigns.
Is it better to pay a fixed fee or a percentage of ad spend?
For smaller budgets, a fixed fee is usually simpler and fairer. Percentage-based fees make more sense once ad spend is large enough that management effort grows with it.
Should ad spend be included in the agency fee?
Ideally not. Ad spend should be paid directly to Meta or Google from your own account, so you always have full visibility of what was spent.
